THE ART SHOP PLACEMENT REGULATIONS

Each artist, no matter what country and what city he/she is from, can place for free his/her works of art in the ART SHOP of the International Art Project ARTRUSSIAN.COM. The Art Project ARTRUSSIAN.COM Administration reserves the right to refuse any artist or an artist agent to place pictures for sale without assigning any reasons.

To place one’s works for sale or for advertising purposes at the «RUSSIAN ART» resource, one should send his/her form and quality photos of his/her art works to the mailbox art-babay@mail.ru.

FORM:

1. Last name, first name, patronymic or pseudonym of artist (obligatory), for example: Lukichev Ronald

2. Year of birth (obligatory), for instance: 1952

3. Place of living, the whole address is not required (obligatory), e.g.: Ukraine, Kharkov

4. Mailbox (obligatory), for example: art-babay@mail.ru

5. Telephone numbers (non-obligatory), for example: +7(495) 000-0000

6. Site address, if any (non-obligatory), for example: http://www.artrussian.com

7. icq (non-obligatory), for example: хххххххх

8. Text information (non-obligatory), for example: background, list of exhibitions, articles

It is better to send all above mentioned text materials in the form of the Word file, but not in the message body.

GRAPHIC FILES – PHOTOS OF ART WORKS

1. Photo files must be of HIGH QUALITY and have the larger side of as many as 1200 pixels. This regulation must be strictly observed as files having lesser resolution are not accepted as a whole. Photos that are of low quality, blurred, are also rejected. Please, do not send poor photos as it should be comprehended that viewers will disgust the low quality image.

2. The number of works must be no less than 3. The maximum number is not limited.

3. The graphic file itself should contain filename, for example: 001, 002, 003 etc. Here the filename is meant, one should not put this figure into the image in the graphics editors.

4. In addition, it is necessary to arrange the separate text list, for example:

001. Beautiful flowers. Oils on canvas.
89х97. 2004
002. Winter cherry tree. Paper, watercolor. 78х45. 1999
003. The portrait of the painter’s daughter. Oils on carton canvas. 90х45. 2006
Where, correspondingly,
001 – is the filename – for to bring the list and the photos of works to proper correlation
Beautiful flowers – is the name of the work.
Oils on canvas – mean the materials and technique.
89х97- is the size measured in centimeters – first the work’s height must be indicated, than its breadth.
2004 – is the year of creation

We ask you to strictly observe all the regulations. Materials and technique used must be indicated in the full form, in detail and correctly, for instance, “Oil in canvas”, without any shortening. Work size must be put as e.g. 90х45, but not as 90х45 cm.

The placement of the works, sent to the ART SHOP, is realized during the period from 24 hours to 2 weeks. The correct materials are placed immediately, while careless texts and poor photos of works usually take a lot of time to be viewed through and corrected. The most common reason for refusal to place the works is the works photography of low quality or a deliberate deterioration of the file by Photoshop.

At present, the ARTRUSSIAN.COM resource does not act as a go-between for the commercial transactions between artists and buyers, the negotiations are hold by the painters themselves or by their agents.
